  • Kid Chess® runs chess tournaments at our Alpharetta and Marietta offices, our schools, and other locations. 

    We welcome feedback and requests from our customers on what kind of tournaments and events you would like to see at our facilities. Please email justin@kidchess.com with your ideas.

  •  We are also happy to list for you various chess tournaments and events run by our partners in chess, to provide ample opportunity for quality over-the-board playing experience for your child outside of and in addition to a Kid Chess® “Fun with Chess” afterschool club.

    AM Tournament: 9:15am until Trophy Ceremony at 12:30pm

    PM Check-In: 1:00pm to 1:15pm

    Details: K-8 Team State Qualifier
    Location: Cobb Galleria Centre
    Exhibition Halls C & D
    2 Galleria Parkway SE Atlanta, GA 30339
    When: February 4, 2017 @ 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM

    Format: 4 rounds, Individual Swiss System
    Rounds begin 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm
    25 minutes with 5 sec delay per player

    Entry Fee: $30
    ON-SITE REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
    Registration: Online only, closes midnight Jan 30

    Prizes: Ribbons to all participants, Team trophies to all schools with plus scores
    Invitations to the State Team Tournament on March 25th will be announced after the tournament
